"Sunday" was used by Moby in "Sunday (The Day Before My Birthday)" in his 2002 "18" LP.
The more you know...

I love the track "Coward's Way Out" from this album. And of course the Kojak theme!

I didn't know the story about "Sunday," but it is truly one of my favorites of Sylvia's. You're spot-on about the "sound" of Sylvia's album - there was something about all of All Platinum's low-fi, strangely-mixed records from that time. It would be comic were it not for the fact that there were a lot of good tunes coming from there at the time.

yeah, most of the skits on prety Tony were from Sugar Hill crates, they were hooked up by K-Def. Sylvia's producing skills are on point.

Ive had this record for years. First saw it for $50 bucks at WMFU Record Fair. Asked myself, why? Found it for $2 a week later at Thing, mint condition. After a few listens, it grew on me, but was hard to get it into heavy rotation. The breathing, the "oo la la's" and the ultra-relaxed vibe makes me wonder who, other than Joe, her husband, would have "ok'd" this one for All Platinum. Weird record, but a gem. Nice post.

Does anybody have the track by slyvia & The Moments called "Sho'Nuff Boogie" Part 2? I have Pt. 1, but I have been unsuccessful in tracking down Pt. 2. Ear Fuzz? Anybody?
