Wicked post. I myself absolutely love Omni Trio's 'Trippin On Broken Beats', and Dillinja's remix of Björk's 'Cover Me'.
Why aren't there any good Drum n' Bass blogs?

Do you know what Marc, I was thinking the same thing when writing about Metalheadz. There's a definite gap in the market there for someone who wants to step up and fill it.
I love both those tracks you listed by the way though I wonder if I would feel the same way if they didn't have the nostalgia that comes with listening to them now.......Impossible to say.

The nostalgia thing is important in some ways, but in other ways is more of a hindrance I find. Certainly, some drum n' bass (Adam F especially after a particularly hedonistic festival experience) doesn't appeal to me now because it's not as good as it was in the day. But the Full Cycle, Good Looking and much Metalheadz stuff stands up really well.

Yeah it was interesting going back through my vinyl and looking at what stood up to the test of time and what offered only memories (a lot of the amen break tracks in particular now sounded very underwhelming).
I would add Moving Shadow to the list you have above as well.
