The funny thing that occurred to me when I read the story is that Christian romance novels do occasionally have sex scenes (just don't ask how I know that). At least one of Francine Rivers' books, Redeeming Love, does, though I can't remember if the Christian Harlequins do or not. The latter are, as expected, quite awful.

I just like the fact that my kid's reading these thick tomes. I'm Christian, but I guess not in fundamentalist/literalist sense (or maybe a secular Christian, who knows?).
