Why name a band 'The Raconteurs'(sp)? It sounds cool, and edgy, and all edumafied. Their artists, they don't *have* to be consistent or make sense. I mean, come on, accordion?!

Rockers are too busy for transliteration, Dr. Dan. 
So they can get the rights to the name for selling their stuff? even indie prog-rock groups need to make a buck.
