I liked the movie too, but my father-in-law (a career FSO who is very unhappy with the Bush crowd) hated it and my wife was bored and underwhelmed.
If I get around to it, I'll blog about my reaction to the movie. In a nutshell, I thought the satire was great. The film can easily be viewed as a sharp critique of US foreign policy.

Rodger,
In that case, I highly recommend the WaPost Style article I link to in the original post-- it has some fascinating interviews with some of Wilson's original staffers and colleagues, as well as Wilson himself, all reacting to the movie.
I can't wait for the movie review.

What satire? It's a correct account.
