"The USA Today" only mention of the Olympics in the link is this:
Georgia President Mikhail Saakashvili claims Moscow took advantage of situation to "invade" his country while the world's attention was focused on the Olympics in Beijing.
How is that a concession by Saak.? It is an accusation that Russia exploited the timing.
