I was in high school for the first Iraq war, and there was no argument -- Me opposed, everyone else for.
That sucked. This was in rural mountain country too.

of course the teacher is biased. People need to be agreed with, even if it is my ego-centric teenagers.
We did talk about current events, but at least our teacher required that we have sources (documentable) and NOT argue emotionally. he was a leftie, but at least he was fair.
I'm sick of the war debate and Monday Morning QBs. If they had a child experiencing close calls every day while on patrol, would they think differently???
I miss my son...

Best wishes that your son returns safely. I know how worried I was when my uncle and cousin were over there, I cant imagine the difference of having a son in the same situation.
