If you ran out of time on the post, how did you have time to create a category for posts you ran out of time on?

There's a sushi restaurant called Fugakyu near me that does even better than a conveyor belt. There's actually a moat of flowing water along the bar, and the sushi floats by on little boats. Great place but crazy expensive.

What she didn't mention was the Sushi is actually decently priced. Like the plates on the belt range from 99cents to 2.75. And contain everything from the Peapod things to a 4 piece cut roll.
The place is kinda small though. So avoid rush times. They're also kinda slow for anything except what's going around the conveyor belt and the plain sushi orders.

We don't have those kinds of fancy sushi places here in Chicago, just plain ol' "Order from the server" type of places. Although Benihana's has some pretty good sushi. Any of those out in Cali?

LYT - It was already in there as an auto fill.
C - I said I ran out of time.
But yeah, the prices were awesome-sauce. A box lunch for under $10! Miso soup, salad, rice, the she-bang!
R - Boats does win over conveyor belt, but at least the conveyor belt is cheap.
ZK - ARE THERE EVER!! We nearly went to one for my sis' birthday, but then everyone was sick. =( Hopefully we will go soon.

I've been to sushi places with boats and conveyors, but I'm not real big on them. It's fine if you like eel and California rolls and teriyaki, but as I'm more a fresh raw kinda guy, I want to have that thing in my hands the instant the chef is done with it, and I also want his recommendations and rapport.
fresh raw food shouldn't be circling for a while before I eat it. And given my palate, I know that I'll want the stuff few others take, so it's likely to have been circling for a while.

LYT - That's what the paper menus are for!
Actually, the chefs were still behind the counter and the guy next to us was getting recommendations from the chef, who was passing plates over the conveyor belt to the guy saying "here, try this!", which caught my attention.
The yellow tail my sis ordered was quite yummy. My tastes tend to be more predestrian than yours though, I must admit.
