I'd love to see a "should ANWR oil be left for our grandchilren" question, or perhaps "should ANWR be treated an an emergency oil reserve" question.
While I oppose drilling in Wildlife Refuges, I'm a little bit of a pessimist, and think we will drill it all, eventually.
The interesting thing to me is how often the ANWR question is asked as yes/no, with "yes" equating to "now."
That of course is in the interest of those who would drill "now."
You're right about that and I've wondered the same myself. I'd like to see it phrased in a conservation context, i.e., if the nation had an aggressive program to conserve fuel, would you support ANWR drilling? Or which would you rather see, ANWR drilling or conservation?
