The other day i was driving home and i saw one of those directions trucks washing the post things on the side of the road...i thought about you and how you said you had to walk forever and clean them so why do we have one of those trucks and not you? It doesn't seem fair.

I guess it's economics & safety.
On the roads carrying heavy, high speed traffic it is suicidal to wander down the road. You use a very expensive water blasting truck with flashing everythings. We have tried motor scooters, but some of the staff had , Um, too much fun on them, and they didn't last the pace.
On a nice sunny day, however it is not a bad job, but it always feels a bit bizarre........
