yes, we at the sisterhood know sacrifice all too well: we will bravely go barefoot so that another sister may experience the joy of wearing her first pair of Manolos .........
however, we do warn ladies of metal grates, over watered lawns, and potholes ......... it's in our owner's manual of pointy shoes, vol.3: page 136, section 23, item 11.

We totally had a GREAT TIME in our month in New Zealand. Driving a teeny little Japanese front wheel drive car like crazy in the deep gravel on the hogback ridges going to Cape Rienga was a TRIP! Driving the Time Forgot highway in that little car was ok, as so glad we did not have a motorhome! We are debating whether to move to Taranaki (her home roots and relatives) or to the Kerikeri area.
Oh yea...WOMAD was a reall HOOT!
