"...we part with tender relations stretching far behind us, that never can be exactly renewed..."

Gravatar Pretty description... but would you really leave Maine for California? I can't imagine. I must have a terribly romantic idea of Maine.

Gravatar My favoirte time is climbing one of the seven sisters in the early morning when the fog sits in the lower valleys and the peaks are visible all the way to Morro Rock, like little islands in a sea of fog. Madonna or Bishop peaks are good spots to run to the tip for this very purpose. Thanks for the reminder of how wonderful it is in San Luis Obispo County.

Gravatar Maine does have incredible beauty, but of all the years I lived there, I've never experienced a sense of connectedness like I do with this place. And a climb up any one of the hills or mountains here provides views that are almost idyllic. For reasons I can't explain, this place feels like home. Thanks Stephanie and Windspike for commenting.

Gravatar thankyou for your kind email. I will add you to my blogroll list on the right sidebar. I also propose a new BLOGGING concept which I just posted.

Views and comments like those expressed by you is what MAKES BLOGGING WORHTWHILE.

I thank you.

Gravatar worthwhile (oops)

Gravatar Love the quote.. and I am slightly envious about your trek across country. I have been by plane, and by bus (CA to midwest and back) but never coast to coast, and never by car where the power to stop, look and drink in the surroundings where ever I pleased, was mine.
