"...we part with tender relations stretching far behind us, that never can be exactly renewed..."

Gravatar Wow. That's quite an adventure.

I don't know that it'll ever happen but I'd love to cycle across the U.S. someday. I know that I still have lots of Australia to discover, but after cycling across our land 5 times already I wouldn't mind a look at yours.

Gravatar Thank you, Rodney. I imagine 5x across Australia must be quite a feat and an adventure in itself, and I'd like someday to be able to visit there myself. I think what I like most about going on a trip, though, is that you can put aside your everyday, ordinary life and take on fresh perspective by really experiencing life on the fly, so to speak.

Gravatar Found your blog on blogexplosion. I really enjoyed reading about your trip.

Gravatar read about your trip with great interest. have never gone x-country, it's still in the dream-category, but i promise myself that one day i'll just get into a car and do it.

Gravatar Beautiful, that you and your ex are able to share the kids' milestones without hard feelings or discomfort.

I've been jumping from one random post to another since yesterday.

This is a beautifully written blog, Scot, no matter the topic of the moment. Needless to say, I'll be back.
