thanks for visiting my blog. by the way I wear a ROUTE 66 patch on my jacket over here.
Route 66 is a must for me at some point. I've taken boring major interstates across country a few times and seen some amazing stuff, so I can't even imagine what Route 66 is like.
I have got to start of list of things to do before I leave this planet. This will definately be on it!

Most of Rt. 66 doesn't exist anymore as it was replaced by I-40. But the few stretches that are left certainly give a sense of what it must have been like to drive across country from one town to the next. I kind of have the bug now, and I think my next trip out will be secondary roads only.
