My son is in the army and is currently serving in Baghdad. I am very proud of him, but hoping that he will be home soon. He was actually born at MCAS Cherry Point north carolina as I was the wife of a marine for many years. I hope that your son has a good experience...and also, know that once he has the GI bill, they will give him a monthly stipend while in school and will pay for courses and tuition while he is serving. I wish him well.
