"...we part with tender relations stretching far behind us, that never can be exactly renewed..."

Gravatar Well said! Very good post!

Gravatar What I like about Lindsay's article is that it demonstrates how a simple change in our thinking can lead to radical acceptance. "Got to" leaves us stuck; "get to" gets us going.

Gravatar I really like this post. So many times we can't do anything to control our life situations, but we can always do something about how we think about them. I remember how hard it was when my sons were small-really hard work, but now I would love to have that work again for a couple of days.

Gravatar This is one I won't forge--especially tomorrow as I get to visit my own mother tomorrow, or as I get to drive my son to a doctor's appointment, or even as I get to go to work at the job I'm always complaining about, but am really very lucky that I have the health and strength to perform.

Gravatar I really like this one too. Is this yrs. or someone else's? sorry but i'm new to yr. site havent' fully explored it. also i like how yr. posts don't have dates. how do you do that?

Gravatar disregard the previous, sorry scanned too quickly, saw who the author is when i read further.

Gravatar Lovely post, and thanks for visiting the tree house.

I'll be updating my blog roll again this week and I like your writing so check back later this week.

Gravatar Rona: This post is by Lindsay Small. I was just too good not to post and share. The dates of my posts are to the left just above the title of the post. For example:
