I don't know so much about "Blueberry Boat", but you need to download some songs from "Gallowsbird's Bark". I am hereby suggesting "Bow Wow", "Don't Dance Her Down", "The South is Only a Home" and "Single Again".
YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DISLIKE THESE SONGS.
While what I've heard off of "Blueberry Boat" is pretty much unlistenable except for small bits, most of the songs off of "Gallowsbird's Bark" are just dischordant pop, and ok. When I saw them open for Ted Leo they only played songs off that album and it was good.
(...also I want to hump the lady in that band but THAT IS UNIMPORTANT.)
I don't download songs anymore for some reason; do you have a copy of this album? Maybe I should give that a listen. Also, it should be pointed out that after your initial moment of disagreement, you and I are in complete accord as to the actual listenability of Blueberry Boat.

yeah, so not into them either. does that mean we are the new pariahs of the music universe? perhaps, but i still maintain that they are not deserving of their fame. i lost a lil respect for pitchfork for going apeshit over them. go team!
