About a minute and a half ago I clicked a link in another blog that took me to Dogblog, so I'm totally new but totally love the Dogblog.
Someone on livejournal directed me to the original blog, and then I added the feed.
Somebody on LiveJournal linked to the blog, and now I read the feed on LJ. I love it!
Nope, hadn't read FC before. I received the link for the Dog Blog through a Yahoo Group. The group is not at all about Dogs, or Blogs (for that matter) but this one person persists on posting silly stuff. All in all, I can positively say I am glad I actually visited the Dog Blog. Not only did I get to waste a vast amount of time at work going through each and every last post, but, I was totally entertained! Good luck on the prowl for more Doggie models. It's too bad you don't take submissions because I have what is, possibly, the baddest, most attitudinal, beautifulest, sweetest Boxer dog on the face of the earth. LOL She's Boo and she tips her hat to your creativity, too. (Okay, so it's not a hat, it's a set of devil ears built on to a doggie head band. That counts, doesn't it?)

The artist of one of the webcomics I read (qwantz.com) posted a link to dogblog. I switched to reading your normal blog after exhausting the entire dogblog archive--I needed a hit, and there were no new dogs! Thanks for brightening up that 3pm slump in my workday...

A friend of mine on LJ mentioned dogblog in a post of his, and have been watching ever since.
I found Dogblog through Metafilter and added the feed on Livejournal once I found that. I love cute dog pictures. (And I totally got a kick out of the Welsh Terrier, dog #160. I have one myself and they're pretty rare, so it's always nice to see random pictures of them!)
Can you see comments posted to LiveJournal? I commented "below" there, before realizing you meant here.

I saw a link on live journal somewhere, followed it, and fell in love with the dogs (and commentary!).
well, one day i was just hanging out at this comic book shop with a bunch of drunk nerds, and there was this one dude see, who kept rocking back and forth in order to keep the world in balance and you know, this dude was just so much fun that I couldn't get enough and now here I am!
if you see him tell him i said hi and the world is seeming really out of balance these days.
I found out from my boyfriend, John, who then pointed me to the livejournal feed. He's very tolerant of the fact that I'm dog crazy...
Somebody on The Well posted a link to the dogblog. It's a treasure, thanks for sharing it. I've bookmarked it so I can check for new pics once in awhile.

A work of genius. I have three dogs and love the pictures, but it's your commentary that makes it.
I was reading the technology section of the Tampab Tribune newspaper, and they were doing this tounge in cheek encyclopedia of tech terms. blog was one of them. The author described what blogs are then gave your site address as an example of a personal blog. I am a dog lover who loved, just loved visiting San Fran, so i decided to check out your site. Pretty cool by the way. what do i have to do to get my Pig or Wrigley immortalized on your web site?

I found dogblog after reading the foodwhore blog that led me to Dr. Alice blog that led me to dogblog. I have pugs. Where are the pug pics??? They have to be the cutest darn dogs ever. They have only survived after all the years in China because they are too cute to eat.

My friend Jaime (swellsville.org) sent me this link one day when I was feeling glum because I am a freak who used to go to Dolores Park on Saturdays just to watch dogs and give them voices and scenes in which they were acting for my own entertainment. BECAUSE I LOVE DOGS.

uh, I know Jon. I knew him a long long time ago when he was a wee college student, shrieking on his violin of pain. He taught me how to cook bacon with chopsticks, the lyrics to a few select Dave Matthews Band songs, and introduced me (sorta) to my spouse. My parents dog (Shadow) is referenced on page 3. Woo, hoo!
