Not just knitting, I think it's crafting in general for everyone. Or maybe that's just me? I was recently lamenting the lack of hours in the day for crafting (and all the things I want to learn, like gardening, home canning, home wine making, woodworking, etc.) But remember Jon, postcards=papercraft=scrapbooking! Not really, I just wanted to freak you out.
