If candy-coloured anime robots are really what you want, (Oh jesus Jon, you are totally making my geek show, I hate you and am going to beat you up, I swear it,) you might be able to make a cool video with footage from Full Metal Panic, because those mecha battles are freaking awesome, and things blow up a lot. And there's a bright red one in some of the episodes, and last time I checked, red is the colour of candy.
