Now that I think about it, I have actually seen the Tato Skins in stores not that long ago. I am pretty sure that it was a Giant near my apartment. I will research this.

I'd forgotten about O'Boises, but now that I've remembered I'm going to be craving them forever. Thanks!

You get more hits when you spell it "O'Boisies". One of the links mentioned "Pizzarias" chips. Remember those?
I remember o'boisies, but I don't remember how they ate.

Where did these Poore Brothers come from, is what I need to know now, and what sort of potato-product empire are they in the process of building? Is it ... is it time for me to swear an oath of loyalty to them now? 'Cause I'll do it.

I remember O'boises, too. I remember them being kind of bleh.
If you haven't already, you ought to try the terra red bliss chips - they are infinitely excellent.

I have also seen a resurgence of Munchos (still as cheap-looking as ever) in 7-Eleven and Gas Station stores all over California.

Munchose are fantastic. They probably are terrible for you and really have a ridiculous amount of salt on them. But damn, they are so friggin' good.
I don't think they ever left though. I've been eating those bad boys since high school and I'm sure they were around before then.

I did a search on O'Boises, wondering why on God's green earth they disappeared. The wonderful salty goodness of a good crunchy O'Boises air-pocket.....mmmmm, how I miss it.

I loved O'Boisies. I would like to love them right now. I'm going to write to Poore Brothers and see what happened to them. And Pizzarias. Tato Skins are being phased out. What is going on? Keebler made all of these snacks back in the early '90s when they stormed the scene. I think Keebler decided to sell off their chips for whatever reason or maybe Keebler went bankrupt. I have no idea. But I will find out.

I find it amusing that my own pitiful results from Googling "O'Boises" brought me to this blog. My husband also often mourns the loss of the o'boisterous chip.
