actually the best way to eat a pineapple is to sprinkle a little salt on top (don't tell but it's an old Hawaiian tradition I learned from "The Pineapple Guy")...it makes it even juicier.

yes, it's the inside of your mouth that itches... most prominently the top of your tongue, and secondly the roof of your mouth. my mom has the same problem, so i'm wondering if it's a genetic pre-disposition.
