i am currently on hour 71 and counting of Advance Wars DS and haven't even beaten the main campaign yet. i've been spending time in the War Room levelling up my COs so that i can use the funky skills in the campaign.
it is awesome for waiting and for public transport and so forth. all the tactics-style turn-based games are. personally i'm waiting with anticipation for news of a new FF:Tactics for the DS. i believe i ran up something like 150 hours on the GBA version.
Holy crap, I didn't know you could level up COs in the damn War Room -- maybe I should do that before taking on this piperunner research lab!
That piperunner lab mission sucks ass. It eventually turned into a war of attrition, where I used my money-making COs and kept producing tanks and throwing them at the enemy until we finally got enough room to capture the last city I needed.
If this game worked on wifi, I would never get any sleep.
...You guys are nerds.
On an unrelated note, all of the animals in my (Animal Crossing) town are currently using the catchphrase 'dickcheese.' Oddly enough, I think this may somehow be my mother's fault.

So I finally caved and bought Advance Wars. I'm not very far in, so I still suck. A lot. I think I might well still be in the tutorial phase, because they keep telling me things that I don't want to read through.
I just want to blow things up! Why won't you let me, weird kid with headphones...?
Also, I think this game might be improved upon if I were allowed to be people from Black Hole. (I'm just sayin', robot guys are more interesting than kids with headphones.)
