Throw caution to the wind and go eat some curry like your digestive system is 16 again. Get it as spicy as possible in the hopes that the heat will kill any bacteria.
Also belated congrats on getting the canine blorg on the teevee. I still think you should have your own channel, but only if you host it hef-style with a smoking jacket and pipe.

You bring a bimetallic stem thermomter with you
You stick it in whatever steam tray of food you are intereted in
All food held on steam tables for service should be at least 165 degrees.

gabe has the best idea! why don't you do that, and also practice the best of the creepy sentences while you take the food's temperature. yes!
my guess is that if people regularly got food poisoning from that place, it would have been ratted out and shut down by now.

Just git in there and eat your dinner. Strengthen the guts with food and pathogens! One is fuel to fight the other!

Having just got over a out of food poisoning (yesterday SUCKED kids.) , I am going to say that you deffinately shouldn't touch that stuff.
At the very least, it would be stupid to do sowithout the help of one of those steam thermometers that Gabe mentioned. (Hurray for Gabe!)

Just don't worry and obsess over it so much - that is a surefire way to at the very least give yourself an upset stomach.
The food will be fine. You caught them on an off-day, and yourself as well.
EAT THE TIKKA MASALA NOW
IT CALLS TO YOU
