By the time I'd gone to bed, my guts felt all funny and I was thinking, "man around 3:30 in the morning I am going to wake up and start getting the food sickness aren't I?"

But I did not!

I also totally forgot to give everyone cookies that were in my bag that I brought specifically for you guys to eat. Damnit.

Gravatar The next time you mention that you made cookies, I will demand them immediately!

Also I think my body was just conditioned to break down and use nutrients turbo-style yesterday because I went running.

Gravatar The Protector was a lot of fun, but it would've been more fun if they hadn't cut out 90% of the plot for us stupid Americans.

Gravatar I thought Indian was the only cusine that guaranteed a you would still have a full stomach the morning after the meal. Perhaps you need more rice, nan bread or a stuffed paratha or something?

Gravatar Maybe your digestive enzymes took Tony Jaa's example to heart and just starting wailing on your dinnerz with maximum destructive efficiency. Muay Thai is really fucking dangerous!

Gravatar They /cut/ the plot? That explains why the movie appeared to have been flash-edited by a 13-year-old kid with Attention Deficit Disorder.

Gravatar They did indeed. A friend of mine saw the original, unedited version, and said it makes marginally more sense. They did the same editing thing with Ong-Bak, apparently.

Seriously though? The full thing's not that great. It breaks down to:

TONY JAA: WHERE'S MY ELEPHANT

EVERYBODY ELSE: WHAT

[Tony Jaa knees everybody else so hard the movie adds an obituary page to the credits]

Fin.

I have the unedited thing and for the first time since I've started watching imported movies I say to anyone who's bothering to listen that you were done a favor when they shaved this down.

Assuming all of the action scenes were left in. I'll have to compare notes with somebody.

Gravatar Seriously, it's not like I had trouble figuring out the plot of the Americanized version or whatever.
