People who are good at Ikaruga make me want to give up video games completely, because watching someone play makes it blatantly apparent that mine is a hobbyist's interest compared to that kind of focus. I swear the only reason Ikaruga's not called LOOK THE FUCK OUT: THE GAME is because it wouldn't fit on the box.

Auuugh I love that game but it infuriates me how bad I am at it, because I usually rule at that breed of shmup. Co-op is tremendous fun though.
