See, the AKC actually has a sort of "MISC" category for breeds that are not common enough to be officially recognized. The Swedish Vallhund is gaining popularity, for example, and was only added to the Foundation Stock Service (not-quite-recognized breeds) in '99. Rare breeds from other countries get imported, too, which is the case here.

Plus, people start creating godless crossbreeds with poodles to try to make hypoallergenic dogs. (I am not a fan of the "-poo" crossbreeds, personally.)

I hate labradoodles solely because of the one that lives nearby that is always being walked by the crazy lady that talks a lot and shouts commands at those two dogs and they NEVER LISTEN and she WAKES ME UP SOMETIMES

The crazy lady you're thinking of doesn't appear to own a Labradoodle -- the "Kelly" she's always yelling at seems to be an Australian shepherd mix of some sort. Unless you're thinking of someone else? There's a loud, cigarette-smoking lady who's always yelling commands at her dog Kelly as though she thinks Kelly understands complete English sentences.
