I think "I jammed the crayons into his ears" may be one of the best sentences ever. In fact - I think I feel a new catch-phrase coming on!
If you subtract the element of violence from it, "jamming crayons into somebody's ears" is actually a fairly serviceable way to describe what Cloud Cult or Los Campesinos! do to you. Or to me, anyway.
Oh, snap - I hadn't actually thought about how it would be used, just that it was totally awesome and should be used. That's perfect - Modest Mouse jams crayons into my ears. And The Bicycles. I thank you most sincerely for this excellent new phrase!
