It took me 4 years in the city to realize that a portion of the population is Euro. Probably been clubbing for the past 3 days and barely mustered the strength to get their ass to work.
Yeah, they don't really know...and I hated them for it.
Ah, summer is on the horizon and mass transit in NY is rife with such horrors. My fondest recollection is maneuvering into a crowded car during rush hour and turning into the armpit of a sleeveless-shirted straphanger, sans deodorant and equally carefree in the other ways of personal hygiene.
