I was 29 when i had a kidney stone. It was the most painful thing I've ever experienced with me doubling up on the floor at regular intervals for about 2 days. I didn't actually feel it when it passed which is the bit that most people worry about.
The doctor said that drinking plenty of fresh water can help prevent them. A good reason to keep drinking those 2 litres a day at work.
Hi Jon, To give you a clearer idea of who is reading your blog...I'm in Chicago...started out reading your dog blog because I love dogs and your great sense of humor...now also check your Flavor Country weekly....I work fulltime...married...no kids...own an evil yellow lab....wish I owned 10 evil labs...love baseball (White Sox and Brewers...and I guess you could say I'm middle aged but don't feel like it... thanks for all the great chuckles!
