Gravatar the iraqis are not the only friends the findings of the Iraqi study groups suggest we abandon. they also recommend sacrificing the israelis to clean up the mess the bush administration made.

Gravatar Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise, as the report also suggested a change in strategy. While I support the cause, progress is very slow.

Gravatar All I could think about as I heard all day long what was in the report was that the leaders of the UN would be so proud!

Gravatar What's best for Iraq? What a crock, Don. You're one of the most eager proponents of "let's fight them there so we don't have to fight them here." Putting aside that one doesn't preclude the other, you have been advocating turning Iraq into a magnet for terrorists so we can kill them there.

The Iraqi people no doubt appreciate that all to hell.

You have no concern for the Iraqi people, Don. Your words have made that clear.

Your policy succeeded. Iraqis are dying by the thousands. And we've turned Iraq into a situation that most sensible people realize cannot be won militarily.

Yet you want to stay the frigging course.

Pathetic. Immoral. Cowardly.

Not to mention futile.

Gravatar Hmmm. "James Baker & Co.", Bob Gates, the American people and now even Don Rumsfeld (in his parting memo) state strongly that a change in course is necessary and the situation in Iraq cannot be won militarily. Well, apparently all these heavies just aren't as knowledgeable as the Great Don Surber and our Omnipotent president...who, if you need reminding for the umpteenth time, is the one who caused this mess by unecessarily invading Iraq.

Gravatar So lefties support imperialism, a bunch of white-haired old men 10,000 miles away deciding what is right for brown-skinned people

I am totally not surprised

Gravatar So, Don supported a grey-haired old turd deciding what was best for brown-skinned people by invading their country. Or was that more about what was best for THIS country?
