Uggh this pissed me off. I mean people will BITCH about anything and everything. I like Cameron for the most part but her laugh is a bit much for this ol gal...
I would comment on how right I think you are Mel, but I can only think about Ms. Diaz's nipples right now.
I usd to really like her after "Somthing about mary", but starting with "being John Malkovich" (the downfall of a brilliant actor), to the having good genes remark, to the actresses are the popular girls remark, to the general ignorance of the bag debacle, to the half assed apology... You can have her. Beauty is not skin deep.
That makes it all the worse for her, since she's not pretty enough to run on that alone.
You know what worries me? The tattoo I have on my back. It's a japanese character, it's actually meaning too shameful to admit ten years after I had it inked, but...I never did research that to find out what it really means...it probably says "flat noodles with curry" or something.
I don't hate her...although I think she dresses way too young for her age...even though she's got a rockin body, she should act her age....please don't take that the wrong way....
as for the handbag incident...I think she was totally innocent, she didn't MEAN to offend anyone, but I also think that when buying clothing or accessories with foreign languages printed on them, you should make DAMN CERTAIN what they mean before you go traipsing around a foreign country flaunting it...she's lucky she didn't get stoned to death...or whatever they do over there...*shrugs*
OH, and Glad to see y'all back...you were missed 
Since we're American's it's no big deal, but it goes to show exactly how much Hollywood and it's people have their heads up their asses. If we were Peruvians we would be pissed enough to take away her "latinaness" and make her a plain old white girl again.
