Friend, do a little history study, and you will see that the USA didn't just waltz uin and take over the territory in question from Mexico, on a whim, but took it as a result of an act of aggression from Mexico, ushering in the US-Mexican War of 1848-49. Following the War, after capturing Mexico City, we paid the Mexicans for the land we took in a war they started.
