Arrgh, Donnie Darko is such a frustrating movie. At some level it is just using all the Tangent Universe stuff as a contrivance to explain why its plot points are randomly borrowed from the lyrics of "Head Over Heels." I still love it. |

Dara--Mike has been doing this a lot longer than I have, and I think he has something to say about that, so watch his space. As for me, while I wouldn't call it a "surge," I would say that, yes, there is a noticiable increase in interest in comics, both the super-hero and the good variety, from non-comics readers whenever there is a film or television title based on one getting media attention. |
