In a small way, it also applies to all of those who kept vigil over here, the sleepless pajama bloggers, fighting the 5th column MSM and DNC. Ha - here's a mixed metaphor: the Fifth Estate fighting the Fifth Column!

Have you read the contemporary poem referenced in the thread called "One more lesson from Viet Nam" at wizbangblog.com ? It's called "The Last Battle of Viet Nam" written by Russ Vaughn (2d Bn, 327th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, Vietnam 65-66).
