Isn't it strange that the Washington Post does not identify Liz Cheney as the daughter of the vice-president? While it might be obvious to most people, it is not self-evidently so, and pretty clearly a conflict that the readers should know...

Interesting... This time her byline says:
The writer was deputy assistant secretary of state for Near Eastern affairs from 2002 through 2003 and principal deputy assistant secretary of state for Near Eastern affairs from 2005 to 2006.
Last time it simply stated:
The writer is former principal deputy assistant secretary of state for Near Eastern affairs.
And if you do a Google search -- ISOG site:washingtonpost.com -- the only person at WaPo who managed to mention her involvement with the shadowy ISOG is the honorable Dan Froomkin (besides a few user comments).
