And where do you rank Sanchez between the Yankees RH prospects? Is he above the Clippard-Kennedy's type? or how much high as the Rassner-White-Karsten's? Would you prefer him before Betances or Garcia?

Sheff got $41 mill for 3 years from Detroit, he's old, (38 ) is going to be a DH, coming from wrist injury and with bad attitude. It's a bad signing for them. They gave an older and riskier Sheff more money and with a no trade clause to be a full time DH than the Boss gave him 3 years ago to be a RF. Even Sheff is saying he did some history with this contrat
I bet Sori or Lee would had asked for the same and they are younger and can play the field. And they gave 3 young arms to do get the trade done!

The Tigers aren't too unhappy with the deal. They have an incredible amount of pitching depth, with Sanchez being the #3. They need a true slugger who can get on base, and Sheffield provides that. I'd be nervous though about signing him to a 3 year deal though.
Sanchez is at Joba Chamberlain's "stuff" level, though perhaps a hair behind him. Chamberlain throws harder, but Sanchez throws heavier. Sanchez is probably a better prospect because he has already owned AA and succeeded in AAA.
I would prefer him over Betances of Garcia because he is already in AAA. That said, I have heard some extremely good things about Betances, and he may turn out to be the better pitcher five years from now. That said, Betances is still a long ways off.
Karstens and Rasner are average pitchers at best. That isn't a knock on them, but they don't compare with the big boys. Steve White is a little better in terms of ceiling, but we'll see if his control problems can be solved.
Clippard and Kennedy are probably #3 starters (Above average, 3.80 ERA kind of guys) at best. They are both fairly sure picks to make it there though.
