You worry too much. Give up this giving up nonsense and come back and post less erudite, shorter pieces. It's good for the soul.

A shame. What if you made smaller posts? Just a paragraph or two.

Come on, man - don't do it. We all know how it feels. There isn't any reason why you can't do your one-a-week to FI and still drop a piece once a week to your own - even if it's only to make a sarcy comment on someone else's take.
As blogger and journo, I can tell you that those one-liners can be as interesting, provocative and helpful as a weighty tome.
As writers, we're lucky if history marks our passing by remembering 30 words of what we contributed. If you're Orwell, or Churchill, or Mencken, or Zola, or St Paul, maybe the quota's a bit higher.
But the fact is...the stuff the world remembers you for is more likely ahead of you than behind you. Wouldn't you like to own the copyright?

The Black Line's loss is the FI's gain!!
Shame you can't keep up the two - but hey - that's the way it is.
Congratulations upon your retirement.
