Just to bring this to your attention, Maryam at Dervish is attempting to get a Muslim blog carnival going. It would be great to see the Muslim blogosphere coming together and cooperating in ventures like this.
Thank you for the comment. Lots of people don't think my blog is "Muslim" enough. :-( I don't know if it would be appropriate for a blog carnival. I'll look into it incha Allah.
Your blog is very very muslim I think. God is everywhere so speaking of your everyday life is a tribute to Him. And I'm not sure I feel closer to God when I read blogs that just copy-paste beautiful texts, although they are often inspiring.
It would be appropriate. Perhaps not in the "fiqh - a scholar's perspective" section, but you share your life in simple words that appeal both to muslims and non muslims so I think it's great.
BTW a question about something every reader would like to know : since you have a new job (masha allah) will you still have some spare time to blog ? ;o) I sure hope so.
