This is what I did when I moved to Korea. I knew that there would be all these sights that would be new and different, and I wanted to be as prepared as possible should I see them, so I bought a small camera that I could put into my pants pocket. And I walked around with that little camera for about eight months or so before I moved up to a bigger camera (an SLR). Having that camera on me was an excellent decision, and I've got a ton of photos now from Korea as a result. I should start back that practice with our small digital camera because my place of work has moved to a new neighborhood, which is completely different from the old one and very interesting, visually.

i always have my camera with me. i'm a photo freak! i can take like 200 pics in one hour walking...
i love to register the moment i know it will be gone in few seconds.
it's wonderful how our horizontal line doesn't allow us to look up and see how wonderful the streets we walk on for years are. this perspective can change with a so simple gesture!
please, post the pics!!
