Book club really was very fun, thanks for keeping this together, Deanna. Jonah was very gracious in answering our questions about the book, and it did seem like everybody enjoyed the book. It'll be nice reading a different sort of book for the upcoming month also.

As for the July book, I have a copy of it if somebody in the club would like to borrow a copy.

I had a great time yesterday and am looking forward to June. July, however, is not going to work. The 8th is my wedding day...

I'll still try to read that book though. It sounds very interesting!

Ahhh, Conor -- you should come anyway. I mean, heck, when you're an 'old' married guy like me, your wife will figure out that baseball stuff takes over even the marriage stuff. Just ask Deanna -- she's met my wife. Ask Deanna what my wife thinks of baseball nowadays. Why not get a head start with it on your wedding night? Er, uh, wait. You'll be "busy" ;-)

Indeed -- birthday wishes all around, Deanna! I know you don't drink beer, so I'll drink one in your honor. I need to be less lame and make it up to a book club meeting one of these days. Problem is, I'm such a slow reader that I can't read a book in a month. I was given a book to review on my blog, and I'm only about 1/2 way through it. I got it in March. It's actually a very sweet book, but I just have very little time to read.

Except Dr. Suess books with my 4-year-old.

Paul - my fiance has already accepted the fact that baseball will take over. She actually suggested that we hop in a limo after our ceremony and head to Safeco Field!

Paul, you have two months to read a book, we're trying to plan two months in advance. So, next month is the Olney book and two months from now is Paths to Glory. I was going to suggest either Fantasyland or Tangotiger's "The Book" for August.

As for the next meeting date, I have no attachment to any particular day.
