As expected, I worked mad overtime last night, so I missed the entirety of the game (I did check the scoreboard during the meeting that kept me at work, though! :D)
I assume Masaru Takeda pretty much shut down the Dragons all game? Seems like Asakura settled down after he got the first out of the game, but the Fighters got all they needed.
In my head, it's already over. The Fighters will win, and the Dragons will officially become Japan's Chicago Cubs. That said, I'm enjoying the series, despite my angry comments during games. :P Both our teams are very likeable, and they haven't won it all in a while, so this sure as heck beats Yomiuri winning it all, or even worse... Hanshin.
(Yes, I'm trying to jinx the Fighters. No, I don't think it'll work.)

The Takeda tandem did, but Masaru only lasted through the first five innings and a batter. Hisashi Takeda pitched until the penultimate out of the 8th.
I think the big thing here was that Tyrone Woods struck out three times. That's huge. He's the big bat on the Dragons. Nice to see Tatsunami get two hits, though.
Ibata's a monster at shortstop. The Fighters only managed more double plays today because the Dragons had more baserunners. And I wouldn't count either team out of things yet, seriously.
