Seattle Marinerds

seriously, one hit!
but it was a great game game!

i just wanted to say, you take the most amazing photos! it is so hard to capture action, but all your photos are awesome.

Gravatar Hello, Deanna. I'd like to interview you for an upcoming piece. Please email.

Thank you,

Philip Riccobono

Gravatar If your piece is about Darvish and how you think he's coming to the MLB, no thanks. I'm a Fighters fan and I don't want to see anyone taking away our ace, thank you.

Gravatar I understand your plight, but I have chatted with him in Los Angeles, and he's probably coming. I admire your work, and the piece is about expat fans in Jp, and how they've adopted Japan ball.

Gravatar He's not an FA for several years and the Fighters won't post him, so I don't know what you're talking about.

Where are you writing this piece for? Your blog does not indicate any such interest except "players who will come to the MLB", so forgive me for being skeptical.

Gravatar Jonathan Sanchez actually did throw a no-hitter for the Giants tonight, but I missed it because I had to do some insane work. My dream of seeing a no-hitter, even on TV, remains a dream. The closest I've come is part of Kawakami's against Kyojin in '02 (which was a no-hitter), and Mike Mussina's one-hitter against Boston in '01. I saw all of that one, but Carl Everett broke it up in the 9th.

Gravatar Deanna, My piece isn't on Yu. If you'd like to to chat on skype, or msn messenger, let me know. I am writing the piece for my blog, and I freelance as well. So it could wind up anywhere. Thanks
Phil

Gravatar Heh - Jarrod Washburn just recently did something similar to the Baltimore Orioles, so I feel ya on the one hit thing.
