I hope it kicks in soon for you guys. I haven't had an unbroken nights sleep in 4 months, so I really hadn't thought anything of that... I guess it is disturbing! I set the alarm for 2 am, and that seems to be enough to get him through the night. Mostly. Thank goodness for the mattress envelope! Continuing good luck wishes your way.

In my experience (and it may isagree with your 'method'), night-times cannot be forced. They rely on a different physiological development, and if a child is not ready to go a whole night dry, or doesn't yet have the wake-up trigger required, no amount of "training" will work. Sorry Trust me, if there was a way, I'd be thrilled. My 2-nearly-3-yo is dry at nights, but my 6-yo is not. Go figure! I decided letting him have a decent night's sleep (in a pull-up) was more important for all of us than stressing about it yet. As for daytimes, hooray for you guys!

Me too. Nights didn't form part of potty training for my kids - it just seems to happen naturally, you start to get dry nappies. I used to potty them before bedtime and putting on the nappy, but that was all.
