Ok, I've been thinking about this all day. On one hand, why waste my breath on this? On the other, I remember waay back in the 60's when I was young and very stupid (ignorant, naive). Thought "give peace a chance" and "all you need is love". Nice platitudes for idealistic youth. Although, let me make it clear, ALWAYS had the greatest respect for the military...paid great attention to my Dad's WWII stories from the Pacific) Fast forward 30 years, I'm raisin' my kids, trying to keep our heads above water financially, not paying enough attention to politics, what's going on in the world. Still think "peace" is the answer....nukes is bad....Pres. Reagan...hmmm....years go by. 9/11 happens....uhh....realization: there are some people you cannot talk to...you can talk right up the moment they cut your head off. There are people in this world whose only goal is to eliminate everyone who is not JUST like them (and it's not US). Then I heard Lynn Swan interviewed, when asked why he switched parties he answered, "because I matured, I grew up". Well, there you go....I have finally grown up. Sadly, some people never do...and I suspect Ms. Jane is one of them. If she can read this blog, and I'm going to assume she's reading other milblogs, and not even begin to "see the light" then the woman is just never going to get it. Face it Tanker Brothers, you're just going to have to defend the likes of her along with the rest of us. However, unlike her, the Tanker Brothers and Sisters here...will always be grateful.

I am proud to be a friend of Jane Stillwater. On the other hand I would rather have a rattlesnake for a friend than a hate-monger like you.
If you were doing anything for this country you wouldn't be in Iraq killing innocent people. The Iraqis never did anything to us and even that fraud in the Oval office admits that everything he has said is a bald faced lie. Of course he didn't use the words lie or bald faced. That AWOL coward does what he has done all his miserable, useless life and blames someone else. I call it what it is.
This country was built on dissent against another (a real) king. He went down in defeat and so will the quack who squats in the oval office. I look forward to the day that this mass murderer has to face war crime charges. I look forward to seeing this abuser of the Constitution in prison. And while I defend our troops, (with exceptions such as brainwashed fools like you), I know that there are members of the military who should be facing those war crimes along with the Commander in Thief.
I would take Jane Stillwater over you macho nut cases and your nut case bosses any day of the week. Jane is interested in going to Iraq as a real journalist. Of course clowns like you and the old war-lord Rumsfeld don't want the real story to come out so your game is to belittle those who are interested in the truth. Screw you.
You, mister are no hero. You are a traitor to this country and that is how you will be remembered. One only has to look at the science fiction at the bottom of your current page to see what caused your brain damage and since you have done nothing to pull yourself away from the TV and stupid war games, I have absolutely no compassion for you.

Ever hear the Phrase "LOST IN THE 60's?" I don't know much, just a high school gageate ay. Lost an Uncle in WWII in the Pacific theater; did my 18 months in the NAM, came home at the grand old age of 20; to the same bunk that's being spewed now. How ever, I am no longer 20, and no longer ignorent of the intentions of the LOVE People that are now as old as I. Kent State pissed me off. Why? It gave me a bitter taste in my mouth about the NG of Ohio, that they were such piss poor shots. It was common knowledge amugst us baby killers, that if we were given the same opportunity the outcome would have been more intense.
Now don't we all have opinions?
