Thanks Aussie. I can't speak for the military of course! But in my 'limited' experience (ooooh - knowing more than a few soldiers ) I know that most of them are highly educated. Most of the men and women I know have at least undergrad degrees and often post grad..with specialties.

Bunch of losers? I think not. But that's MY opinion..

I have had soldiers who came from the inner cities. These Soldiers escaped these hellholes and a vast majority of the succeeded far beyond their childhood dreams. many earned advanced degrees and became officers or senior NCOs.

The military has created opprotunities for the poor the left-wing states does not exist. We created ways these kids, who would never be able to go to 'elitist' schools, get higher education and job training.

People like John Kerry SHOULD know this, but their hatred will not allow them to acknowledge it. And Kerry's past proves he has nothing but hate for Americans and their Armed Forces.
