YIKES!! That is HUGE! Just awesome! The bloggers have done a marvelous job and deserve the recognition. And President Bush deserves some credit for acknowledging the contributions of this fine group.

YAY CJ!! I met C.J. Friday night~he was still flying high from his day!! I'm so excited that this event happened.
What a wonderful opportunity. I am so happy that these bloggers were chosen to represent the milbloggers. C.J, I know what you mean by the President's sincerety and compassion. When my ephew was killed in Kuwait, President Bush personally called his widow and Mom.Unfortunately they refused to speak to him in their grief. However, he did not take offense. Nor did he makew his call public knowledge. He feels each personally.
I used to watch his eyes during press conferences when the media asked him some of their less sensitive questions. He has gotten better at handling those occasions.
I personally admire the President for his compassion, his determination to do the right thing, and his refusal to crawl into the sewar with those members of Congress who seem most at home there!
