Just a causal player and reader here, and like you have noted it is hard to really imagine the 'streaks' that pros talk about. My longest downswing, was about 2 weeks, and cost me well over 25% of my bankroll. I finally, dropped down, chased some easy bonuses and 'made it fun' again. If I was a pro, I am not sure how I could handle it, let alone handle the pressure. I couldn't even dream of the dedication it would take to work through a 6 month downswing, like you here the 'pros' mention.

I will say that I have a friend who is having good luck with the Party 100 and a nice run in the 200 + 15 sng's. Considering your play, you might do well there as nice change of pace. Only a 1000 in chips to start, so you do have to win some coin flips. does stars start with 1500, I know Full Titlt does, which would give more room work. Just thoughts...

Hey,
You are the most knowledgeable player that I know and by far the best player at our weekly game. Variance can be a bitch, but you of all people, in my mind, will be able to come through in phoenix-like fashion to overcome the downswing. Hopefully, variance brings you an upswing soon. Keep up the good work and don't get your head down.

Ps....go buy a punching bag. Fifty dollars is a great investment for stress relief and when the downswing is entirely over instead of hitting it you can hug it. Good luck!
