I think most people tend to take for granted the value of a dollar. I have always given money to those on high street. I think it's almost wrong to turn a blind eye to it. The fact they are begging instead of holding a gun is enough reason for me. I don't even care if they go out and buy alcohol with the money. They are in a bad situation - and even if I can help them escape the reality of the conditions in which they are in, then at least I can assist in some way. It's good to know that you share similar sympathies. No matter how broke I am, I will still have a roof over my head and I am grateful for it. I also find it interesting to listen to their stories. Fictional or not I love hearing them. Keep up the good work.
