There are loads of GORGEOUS shawls in "Victorian Lace Today" (which is less than $20 in softcover, on Amazon I think).
I'm partial to the Curved Lace shawl, only because I think a very ornate shawl could detract from your dress.
If not that, then Eugene Beugler did something fantastic in "A Gathering Of Lace". Fab-u-lous!

Sharon Miller patterns are crazy. I've got her Heirloom Knitting book, and it scared the bejesus out of me! I'll keep a look out for something purdy...

I also want to suggest elann.com as there are so many free shawl patterns - Luna Moth is on my list. Or you can try knitspot where there are many lovely patterns for sale (all less than US$10).

Have you seen the Rose Trellis? It's not exactly triangular bur it is dainty.
